The upcoming film F1, directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick), is set to hit theaters on June 27, 2025. Starring Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a retired Formula 1 driver making a comeback, the movie follows his journey as he mentors rookie Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris, for the fictional APXGP team. Filmed during actual Grand Prix weekends with the cooperation of all ten F1 teams and drivers, F1 promises an authentic racing experience. The film also features Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, and Tobias Menzies, with Lewis Hamilton serving as a producer to ensure realism. With Hans Zimmer composing the score, F1 aims to deliver high-octane action and drama both on and off the track.
